The new proposal by Biden to postpone taxes on gasoline and diesel may/may not work. There is a lot of rubbish from both sides as to whether this will help, or it's just another gimmick. What I believe needs to happen, and these are more permanent solutions, need to happen asap. The first thing though is that Americans need to realize that America, and it's lands and minerals belong THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. Yes, it's ours!!!!!!! Not the governments, nor the oil or gas companies. These need to happen asap before THE PEOPLE lose everything. 1. Remove the gas and oil subsidies that have been there for decades. Yes, the oil companies are still getting subsidized!! WHY the hell is it still happening????????? 2. The gas and oil leases. The lease money is going to the government. Why??? It's the American peoples oil and gas, on OUR land! The monies collected from oil and gas leases should be sent directly to the American people, not the governments coffers. 3. Americans are suffering and paying to help the world (actually the oil cartel). We need to set max limits on just how much of the people's crude goes on the world markets. We need to protect a large percentage of the total oil and gas extraction for us, the American people. Quite frankly, it's the oil companies getting super rich while we pay the price. Enough is enough!! The oil and gas is ours, the American people, not you anti-American corporations!! 4. I don't believe in big government, but if our government is unwilling to rein in the massive windfalls of the oil monopoly, yes monopoly, then the government needs to fully take over the American oil and gas industry, and set reasonable profit margins above the actual cost of extraction. The current model of the Oil companies thinking THEY own the oil and gas, has to stop!!!! Please, please, we're losing ground daily because of these mega billionaire, trillionaire, companies and people. They are "world" companies, not "American" companies. They don't care a rats ass about Americans. Face the facts, India has close to several BILLION people. China has over 2 BILLION as well. We're a small 350 million people market. The corporations want that massive world market, and will do all they can to help those countries monthly cost of living, and income. That includes giving our oil, gas, and our jobs away. WE, the AMERICAN PEOPLE are paying for that. Trump was right about one thing, TAKE BACK AMERICA!!!!!!!! And it needs to happen now!!
