Description
Tang is a handsome orange tabby abandoned by his owners. He was going in and out of a bodega, crossing busy streets, COMPLETELY BLIND. His eyes were severely infected and sealed shut with mucus. After treatment his eyes still didn't look right. Tang has "Bilateral Entropion" where the eyelids turn inward and the lashes scratch the cornea, an extremely painful condition with no relief. He will see a specialist in a few weeks and will need surgery. He also has a "cauiflowered" ear due to untreated ear mites or infection. Despite his pain, Tang is an extremely good-natured cat, loving and affectionate. He also gets along with other cats. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. His surgery is pending, but he can still be adopted. Purrfect Cats will cover the cost of his surgery but the adopter will have to bring him to his appointments in Manhattan. The adoption process includes a meet-and-greet, questionnaire, and video home check. The adoption fee is $100. See more of Tang on Instagram @purrfect_cats_nyc.
