This temporary project will offer full-time hours (4 days per week, 10 hours per day) for the duration of the project. The opportunity will have the potential to go permanent, subject to open position availability and performance during the project. Only applicants who are able to work through the end of this project (November/December 2022) will be considered. Hours for this opportunity are as follows: ***Sunday-Wednesday 3:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.*** ***Wednesday-Saturday 3:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.*** ***Sunday-Wednesday 4:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.*** ***Wednesday-Saturday 4:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.*** Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities: Un-boxes, weighs and logs of product test samples as they arrive Performs sample setup in testing lab Tests, observes and documents test samples in accordance with required protocols Performs general housekeeping in the lab (cleaning wax off testing shelves and floor, cleaning HVAC filters, replacement of burn surfaces) Analyzes soot collection targets Conducts flash-point testing Photographs test samples Catalogs, stores and disposes of test samples Position Requirements: Strong organizational, observation, written and verbal communication, and multi-tasking skills Basic knowledge of Excel and Access High school diploma This will be an in-laboratory opportunity (not remote) *MUST be able to handle strong and continuous fragrances* Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs Ability to climb a ladder Ability to stand for 4+ hours per day Ability to handle exposure to high fragrance odors EEO-M/F/D/V
