Job Description: Our company is currently seeking a working Warehouse Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for processing and shipping orders and maintaining inventory control for our company. If you’re the Warehouse Manager we’re looking for, you’re a stickler for details, accuracy and efficiency. Your excellent communication and customer service skills are key to your success. You are organized, thoughtful and have an amazing capacity to stay calm under pressure. You are comfortable working unsupervised but know the value of being a reliable team member is critical. Please note, this is a working potion. You will actively be participating and coordinating all functions of the warehouse. You’ll have five star reviews from those you’ve done work for already and can provide those references to us. Your responsibilities will include: All warehouse activities in support of distributing operations including but not limited to receiving, storing, picking, and shipping materials. Experience with LTL, Truckload, and Ground shipments and preparing appropriate shipping documents. Maintains strict inventory control. Track and manage inventory. Report any shortages to Purchasing/Sales immediately. Cycle Counts as needed. Year-end inventory. Ongoing coordination with sales & customer service teams. Ability to perform the physical labor necessary. Maintain a safe clean environment within a warehouse setting. Abide by established safety guidelines & promote a safe workplace. Forklift Operation, Inspection & Reports as needed. Perform other duties to support inventory management & the company as assigned. Qualifications: Previous experience in warehouse & other related fields (min 5 years) Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to prioritize and multitask Deadline and detail-oriented Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees Exceptional Work Ethic Positive Attitude Organized Forklift Certified Driver’s License Ability to pass Drug Test & Background Check Additional Skills: Effective communication (both verbal and written) and organizational skills Superior phone etiquette and ability to deal effectively with internal or external customers, shipping companies, peers and management Flexibility to take on additional assignments as needed Reliability, punctuality Professional appearance and work ethic Courteous to others (staff, customers, vendors, logistics) Strong problem solving skills Ability and willingness to work 40 hours a week Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Work Location: One location in Huntington Beach, CA Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Remotely: No COVID-19 considerations: Masks, gloves, sanitizers are available.
