Description
Hi all, the title says it. Here is a little more:
- Looking to do mainly 70's, 80's and 90's rock covers, and some pop and other variety mixed in is great. Interesting twists or arrangements of covers are a plus!
- In addition to bass, I play guitar so can also fill that role or switch.
- I sing well and have decent range. Can do backups or fill lead for many songs.
- Looking for people mostly age 35 - 50 +/-. Can work with anyone, but I like a band to be people I also hang out with, and my best experiences have been with people closer to my age. Otherwise, very open to race, gender, religion or lack of, etc.
- I am reliable and looking for a band that is as well. Family first, so planning is essential.
- Within 30 minutes of Lansing. A long drive to rehearse is not something I am up for right now.
- I have a large catalog of songs I know or can brush up on. I will be prepared for auditions, rehearsals and gigs.
- I can pretty much play anything on bass with some practice.
- I can usually learn about 5 songs a week, but more if I push.
- No music stands at gigs. They take away from performance and just aren't rock n' roll. Yes, this really is a deal breaker for me :)
Thanks and hope to hear from you!
