I’ve been intrigued by the soundscapes used in Tropical House music, there's something so relaxing about that style, it reminds me of being on the beach, like a lot like reggae music does. I am a 55 yo professional drummer and have lots of experience gigging with many bands from Alaska, Washington, Arizona all the way to Florida. I'd like a chill group of players just wanting to have fun, playing good groove music for venues to enjoy and dance to, while we make a few bucks on the side (ya know, chetta!) My idea for this band is to assemble REAL, like-minded, professional musicians with experience, to experiment blending that style with a roots-reggae vibe. I am planning to take this group and gig 3-4 times a month, between Tampa and Fort Myers however, centrally located in Venice / Sarasota area. With sounds similar to: Stick Figure, Tribal Seeds, Slightly Stoopid, Fortunate Youth and Pepper.
