If you mail graduation, birthday, Christmas, Fathers or mothers Day cards, or cards of any sort that even remotely look like a gift, or gift card or better yet cash. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE THE POST OFFICE IN DOWNTOWN VENICE FLORIDA. Since we started using this post office 3 years ago we have had more gifts disappear than in all my years on this earth. The US Mail used to stand for something special, Now they hire any bum off the street and pay them to deliver diapers,toys and crap at a monetary loss for Jeff bezos and his small local business killing Amazon All the while the new generation of letter carriers steal anything that even looks like it might contain money Can’t trust them anymore, at least not here in Venice Florida Every federal employee these days seem to feel like they have a license to steal, Who do you think you are? Nancy Pelosi? Hillary? My advice! If you mail cash or gifts from the Venice Post Office Make it look like a bill, not a gift. Disguise it, and good luck And after the rip you off, don’t complain to the postmaster because they don’t care Probably gets a cut
