Lead Carpenter - Frame to Finish Compensation: $25-35/hr based on experience Employment type: full-time Exciting opportunity to work for a growing real estate development company in Norwood, MA. Applicants should have multiple years experience in the construction field with a strong understanding of residential construction practices. The available job is for full-time work. The ideal candidate has a strong carpentry background (framing & finish). Opportunity to transition into a full-time project manager/supervisor role in the future for the right candidate. Job Responsibilities: - Day to Day carpentry tasks based on the construction project at hand - Read construction plans to accurately execute carpentry tasks - Aid in planning and calculation for material purchasing in order to properly execute carpentry projects - Repair existing structures and install new components including framing, staircases, windows, doors, and trim - Pick up materials from vendors and deliver to jobsites as needed - Miscellaneous carpentry and punch list tasks as needed (framing & finish) - Aid in subcontractor supervision/communication when the project manager is unable to be on site Must have: - Residential Carpentry Experience (5+ years) - Valid driver's license - Vehicle (pick-up truck preferred) - English speaking - Residential Construction knowledge
