The Bill Burby Fun Run returns this summer in full form after being downsized in 2020 and 2021 Island Strawberry Festival activities due to COVID. This summer’s race marks the 40th year of the Bill Burby Inspirational Fun Run. The 40th annual Bill Burby Race will begin at 8:30 AM on Saturday, July 16, 2022. Last year the following changes/ modifications were made: 1) a new challenging course, starting and ending at the Harbor School. 2) 5K run and walk options only (no 10K this year). 3) Lower prices: $15 for adults and $10 for children. 4) Awards to the top three overall finishers (men and women).
