Some Influences old and new- Black Pumas, Michael Kiwanuka, Curtis Mayfield, Isaac Hayes, Daptone (Sharon Jones/ Amy Winehouse/ Charles Bradley/ Lee Fields) Stax/Motown, Iggy/ Bowie/ Lou, Tribe Called Quest, Mos Def, Fugees, Wu Tang, Biggie, Freddie Gibbs. Even a small semi acoustic duo thing at first would be great to get the ball rolling!
