Want to get started with printmaking, but don’t know quite where to start? This class is intended to take the fear out of it and help you to get started making beautiful carved prints! In this class, we will go over materials and how to properly use them, how to come up with designs, and how to create a print. Participants will all receive a carving block and have the option to share tools or purchase an additional materials kit which will include everything needed to continue printmaking at home. This class is intended for students ages 18+ Amanda is a working artist/ store manager, and camp counselor who simply does a little bit of everything. She wants to encourage everyone to find a creative outlet that suits them and is happy to help with that. The class will be indoors and masks may be required.
