We all have ancestral trauma from many lifetimes ago to the present. The trauma is stored in our DNA. And it perpetuates from generation to generation until we heal it. And similarly for the land, trauma is created from wars, bloodshed, fracking, mining, atomic bombs, pollution etc. And it too has to heal. This weekend offers an opportunity to heal ourselves and the lands, Pachamama, Tonantzin, Coatlicue, Mother Earth. Ometeotl! Program Schedule Friday, July 22 12 Noon, Opening Ceremony 12:30 – 1:30 PM, Mayan Calendar Cosmology addressing “Healing Ancestral Trauma”. Mesa Carriers, please bring your Mesas. 5:30 – 6:30 Dinner break – Potluck 7 PM, Despacho Fire Ceremony (if a Burn Day) Saturday, July 23 12 Noon, Healing Ancestral Trauma from the Land Ceremony. Miriam Garay Foronda, Jaguar Clan Grandmother, Ojibwe Sundancer & Water Pourer, 8th Fire. 13 people, 12 drums needed to clear the land of ancestral trauma, ancient and modern. Please bring your hand drums. We will be drumming and walking the land 13 times while the head person drops corn meal. If there are more than 13 people, they can support with their presence and prayers. 3 PM, Clearing, Balancing, and “Jaguar Out of the Tree” individual healing sessions. José Ajpu Muñoz, Mayan Time Keeper. 3 AM is when the veil is the thinnest. José will guide us in the healing of Chaco Canyon’s ancestral trauma, ancient and modern (fracking). You can participate in person or in Spirit. José is a maestro of there is “no time or space”. 12 Noon, Closing Ceremony will include each participant creating a small leather Medicine bag. The Medicine bag will be imbued with your experience of what you learned and healed during the “Healing Ancestral Trauma” weekend. José is a Time Keeper, spiritual guide, and ceremonial leader of the Mayan Chor’Ti people.
