Hickory Wood Events and Wicked Sweets by Kate presents mermaid and unicorn cupcake decorating class! This is a fondant basics cupcake decorating class. Each participant or parent/child pair will learn to decorate 6 cupcakes (3 white and 3 chocolate) with vanilla buttercream frosting. Participants will then learn to make fondant toppers for the cupcakes. Supplies will be available for you to choose coloring to your liking. What we cover in class~ coloring buttercream, setting up and filling piping bags, how to roll and cut/sculpt fondant, and how to use fondant molds for different shapes. We will also go over ways to color your fondant. You will leave with your 6 competed cupcakes, a set of 24 piping tips, couplers, and disposable piping bags. Class takes about 2 hours to complete. Please no children under 12 without an adult helper.
