A life-long storyteller, he made his first film at age 17, which went on to win first place at the then called Portland African American Film Festival. As a true student of the craft, he grew up taking note of Wes Anderson's composition and surrealism, Tim Burton’s grim hilarity, and Kanye West's ability to create visual poetry in a way that is unapologetically honest. arthur graduated from Clemson University where he studied Finance- while taking as many Film courses as he could find. After undergrad, he sought out to gain a deeper understanding of film and technology, leading him to a career at both Google and Pixar Animation Studios. Since then, he's written and directed a wide range of short films, which have screened at Oakland International Film Festival, New Filmmakers NY and won at San Francisco Black Film Festival. He also partnered with EMPIRE Distribution to write and direct 3 music videos that have garnered over 6M total views. arthur is passionate about telling stories that entertain, inspire and help shape our daily lives. He collaborates with a creative, analytical and empathetic mind, and ultimately just loves to make cool stuff with great people.
