The next Revitalize Puna is set for Tuesday, July 12 at Pāhoa District Park Gym. Doors open at 3:30pm, formal presentations begin at 4:30pm. The theme for this activation is "grow together", as we measure and communicate progress of our program and recovery updates. County of Hawai‘i and State leadership will host informational booths to showcase project progress and talk story. This activation also includes a presentation of the strategic action roadmap for restoration and stewardship of Isaac Kepo‘okalani Hale Park. A Resilience Resource Row will feature volunteer opportunities to get involved in as well as information from local nonprofits. Refreshments from local food trucks and a keiki craft station are planned. The activation is free. All residents interested in contributing to Puna's recovery and resilience are welcome! April 11 is the fifth activation in the Revitalize Puna series, which is co-hosted by the Kīlauea Recovery Team and Council District 4. The goal of the activation is to bring community and County together regularly to share information and perspectives, build relationships, and increase trust and collaboration. Let's stay connected!
