As mental health practitioners we have responsibilities to our clients. One of those responsibilities may lead to involuntary hospitalization. This seminar will review basic medical ethics as a foundation for how we care for ourselves and our clients. We will explore the factors of specific diagnoses that may lead to use of the 1013. And we will explore how our personal strengths and weaknesses will inform our ethical decisions in these powerful moments. Live or Zoom synchronous. Approved 5hr Ethics; LCSW, LPC, LMFT
