If you're an aspiring hand and arm balancer enthusiastic to learn about inversions and arm balances that you can incorporate into your yoga practice, this is a workshop for you.
In this workshop, we will start with a yoga flow to warm up our body, followed by drills to strengthen and stretch muscles that you need in your inversion and arm balance poses. We will also discuss about forms and alignments which will help you maintain your balance.
The inversions and arm balances we plan to cover in the workshop include handstand variations, headstand variations, forearmstand variations, crow pose variations, and transitions between selected poses.
No matter where you are in your yoga journey, the workshop welcomes all. This will be a fun event and an opportunity to also meet other local handstand, inversion, and arm balance enthusiasts.
Remember to bring your own yoga/handstand mat, water, and small towels.
Also very importantly, PLEASE complete the mandatory waiver agreement form before you sing up.
Another important reminder, do NOT eat a heavy meal at least two-three hours before the workshop!
