âźBEYOND URGENTâź ALL 4 DOGS WILL DIE ON THE 6/23!! WHY?- PLEASE UNDERSTAND MCACC IS DUMPING GOOD DOGS ON THE ELIST at a pace we volunteers can't keep up with!! THESE DOGS DESERVE TO LIVE!! PLEASE check out all dogs bio below! Call and fill out the following form if you can save 1 of their lives. https://www.thedogsavers.org/apply-to-adopt/. They are not bad dogs!! All four are suffering from long periods of confinement with limited opportunities for out-of-kennel time to exercise and play. The just need out of this noisy, chaotic place!! DAISY: #A4647716 is a 1.8 yr.-old, spayed, black and white American Bulldog/Labrador Retriever (41.2 lbs.). Daisy is a friendly girl that enjoys getting petted and having her belly rubbed. She is energetic and playful and likes playing fetch and running around doing âzoomiesâ with a toy in her mouth. She knows âsitâ, âshakeâ and âdownâ and takes treats gently. Daisy pulls on-leash and will need training to help her become a better walker. She is reactive when around other dogs, so she is required to go to a home with no other dogs or pets. Because she is young and energetic, she needs a home with older children. BAMBI: #A3995282 is a 5-yr.-old, spayed, tan and white American Pit Bull Terrier (55 lbs.). Bambi was wandering homeless when found and brought to the shelter. Her finder said she liked people and was reported to be calm and relaxed as she waited for intake. Bambi has been described as a âvery sweet girlâ that will sit close so she can lean in for petting. She has been easy to leash and has been easy to take from and return to her kennel. She âsitsâ for treats and takes them gently. Daisy walks nicely on-leash once outside the noisy, chaotic shelter. It is suggested that Bambi meets the entire family before being adopted. LILY: #A4678244 is a 2-yr. old, spayed, buff German Shepherd Mix (62.3 lbs.). Poor Lilly came to the shelter as a stray with an injury to her left front leg, causing lameness. She is currently walking with no problems. She was adopted and then returned because she didnât like cats. The adopter said Lily was very good with people and her shelter notes confirm this. Lily has been described as âsuper friendlyâ. She loves playing in a kiddie pool and chasing ballsâŚwill even bring back and drop so she can play some more. She âsitsâ for pets and treats and takes treats gently. She has been easy to take and return to her kennel and walks well on-leash. Lily is required to go to a home with no cats. It is suggested that Lily meets the entire family before being adopted. MARTY: #A4729695 is a 3-yr.-old neutered white and brown American Pit Bull Terrier (57.7 lbs.). Martyâs previous owner said he liked people and did well with children in the home, ages 4 and 8. Marty has been described as very friendly with a tail that is always wagging. He has been very affiliative with handlers, likes being petted, and may climb up on a lap if one is available. He is well-mannered with treats, taking them gently; and he knows âsitâ. He has been easy to take from and return to his kennel and generally walks well on-leash, with some occasional pulling. He has been non-reactive to dogs at the shelter. It is suggested that Marty meets the entire family before being adopted. PLEASE TAKE THIS POST SERIOUS....PHOENIX SHELTER IS EITHANIZING GOOD DOGS! PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN Hi, I'm Jeromeđž (sociability w/ dogs unknownâŚseparate initially, with a SLOW introduction to other dog in home.). I am set to be euthanized June 15th. Why am I E-listed? STRESS!!.....frustration has me jumping and spinning in my kennel, I cannot settle! Itâs just not humane to keep me here. Who can save my life? I donât want to die in this shelter... You will love my crinkle face!! Iâm a 2-year-old, neutered, brown and white Chinese Sharpei/American Pit Bull Terrier mix (65.5lbs.) I came in as a stray. I got adopted and was returned NOT because I did anything wrong, but it was not the right home for me. I need a home with solid, strong leadership, My owner said this : "Jerome is loveable, loves people. He is scared of men, but once he warms up to them he is fine. He is very smart and eager to please. Knows basic commands like sit, stay, and leave it. I was working with him on leash training and was doing so much better. Crate trained and potty trained. He will stand by the door and scratch when he needs to go out. He never met my dogs but was reactive in crate when my dogs came up to it." In the shelter, I am friendly with everyone when I arrived again I am now adoptable again ! Volunteers love me! I am wiggly, fun and friendly, love to have pets and love my toys to play with! But in my kennel I am not doing so well. I am sad my llast home gavae up on me so fast. I hope you come and meet me to save my life! This noisy, chaotic place is very hard on me. I need a home with someone that understands stress dogs and will give me ample time to decompress and relax. I hope you will come to see me!....Hurry! the shelter does euthanize us dogs on time with no extension! I would hate to die here in this lonely stressful shelter.... Love, Jerome⤠Please call
