OUR STORY...OUR IMPACT... Join us at the Suburban Balance 10 Year Anniversary Celebration Fundraiser Dinner! Jazz performances and more! Purchasing a dinner ticket will go towards helping Suburban Balance continue our mission! We will share the SB story, the causes and the work we’ve championed, the impact we’re making to improve educational outcomes for students, the difference we’re making and we will share our future plans to continue our work & impact! YOUR SUPPORT, DONATIONS & SPONSORSHIP means more than you know! OVER THE PAST 10 YEARS SUBURBAN BALANCE HAS GONE FROM A GRASS ROOTS NON-PROFIT TO ONE OF THE MOST IMPACTFUL NON-PROFITS IN MISSOURI/KANSAS! 2022 marks our 10th year! So SB will host a benefit dinner to raise funds to continue our work & impact! Suburban Balance is a difference making non-profit organization that advocates for educational Equity on the behalf of children! SB’s Advocacy work led to an approved Equity Policy in one of the largest school districts in Missouri((Lee’s Summit) and the organization’s goal is to see an equity policy in districts across the metro. Suburban Balance provides a system of support for families raising kids in schools and neighborhood that lack diversity, offers substantive educational programming for everyone in the family, exposes students to leadership & entrepreneurship opportunities! Additionally, SB is an organization that helps students become future ready through our careers education fairs, financial education and entrepreneurship workshops & more. SB is an organization that celebrate students, lifts and supports them, helps build confidence, exposes them to cultural opportunities and gives children an opportunity to connect and network with other children who look like them as well as offer programming to help them learn about their culture. Your attendance at this 10 year celebration fundraiser will help us continue our mission of providing educational and cultural opportunities to suburban kids of color to help them experience a well-rounded lifestyle while growing up in their suburban communities or attend schools that lack diversity.
