~ 2022 KCVS Recreation Program ~ We'll be paddling the Rogue River for this 2-hour trip, and ending near the Rockford Dam where we'll have a meal provided. Everyone will meet at AAA Canoe and Kayak Tube Store next to The Peppermill Grill where we will be shuttled up the river to our start point. Parking: There is plenty of free parking in the surrounding area. Restrooms: There are public restrooms in the vicinity of the start point. Kayak and life jackets will be provided. Water, snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, a towel and change of clothes, water shoes, hats, sunglasses, shorts, tank tops, and swimsuits are some things you may want to bring for this event. This event is a part of the 2022 Kent County Veterans Services Recreation Program with grant funding provided by the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency and brought to you by Veterans Rising.
