GLASTONBURY, CT — A Hamden woman was arrested after a vehicle wound up in the Connecticut River Saturday night at an event at the Boathouse at Riverfront Park, police said. The incident took place at 10:25 p.m., according to a police report. Police found the vehicle in the river at the boat launch area, the report states. Police said the driver, 35-year-old Hamden resident Michele Morehouse, 35, of Hamden, was arrested at the scene and charged with driving under the influence, police said. Moorehouse was leaving an event at the Riverfront Park Boathouse and drove the vehicle into the water, according to a report.
