Description
TEMECULA, CA — Siggy's, a popular south Temecula eatery, suffered a kitchen fire overnight but there were no injuries reported and the damage was minor enough to allow the restaurant at 31970 Temecula Parkway to reopen Tuesday morning.
Dino Gountanis, Siggy's manager, told Patch that the restaurant was closed and no one would have been inside when the blaze broke out.
"We've been open for business, all day," he said Tuesday.
Just after 11 p.m. Monday, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department responded to the fire report. Once on scene, firefighters quickly doused the blaze and remained at the scene for two hours for mop-up, according to a Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department tweet.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
