JERSEY CITY, NJ —A Newark man has been charged with murder and two counts of attempted murder in connection with a triple shooting that left a woman dead in Jersey City last year. The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said that the United States Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested the man on Tuesday in connection with the shooting that left Raven Harris, 30, dead. Jimmy Colclough, 31, is charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder, and three weapons possession charges. He was arrested at a hotel on Paterson Plank Road in Carlstadt and is being held at the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance, prosecutors said. On Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021, just before 10 p.m., members of the Jersey City PoliceDepartment responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Old Bergen Road and NeptuneAvenue. Responding officers found three shooting victims, a 30-year-old Jersey City woman –later identified as Raven Harris – as well as two male victims, ages 28 and 29. The three victims were transported by Emergency Medical Services to Jersey City Medical Center.Harris was pronounced dead at approximately 10:30 p.m. The Northern Regional MedicalExaminer's Office determined the cause of death to be multiple gunshot wounds and the mannerof death to be homicide. The two male victims were treated for their injuries and released. Last year, friends mourned Harris's death. "Rest in peace raven," wrote a woman on Facebook. Prosecutor Suarez credited the United States Marshals Service New York/New Jersey RegionalFugitive Task Force, the HCPO's Homicide and Gang Intelligence Units, and the Jersey CityPolice Department with the arrest and investigation.
