Job Title: Full-time Housekeeper, Live-out (Washington, DC) A private family seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeper to assist with the maintenance of their private residence. The ideal candidate will be a team player, with a “can-do” and upbeat attitude, and experience working with high-profile families or individuals. The successful candidate will have, among other characteristics, excellent cleanliness standards, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. • Full-charge housekeeping responsibilities; museum-quality cleaning of residence • Laundry and ironing of clothing and linens, caring for fine garments, travel packing/unpacking • Maintaining household inventory organization (closets, pantries, cabinets, etc.) • Handling special requests, errands and related duties as needed • Cooking skills are a huge plus • Providing excellent service to principals and guests • Work alongside other staff members (Chef, chauffeur, housekeepers, and house manager) Schedule: Regular business hours M-F (9AM – 5 PM) Must be flexible to work longer hours as needed Salary: $30 - $35 per hour. Negotiable based on experience Benefits: Benefits package available Requirements: • Minimum 3-5 years related work experience in a private residence • Utmost sense of confidentiality and discretion • Excellent references from current and previous employers • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (English) • Professional, polished, and poised always • Hands-on with good attitude, high energy, strong work ethic and an attention to detail • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills • Flexibility in schedule with availability to work overtime and weekends as needed • Valid US work authorization • Valid Driver’s License • Must follow all CDC recommendations against Covid-19
