ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police handled two cases involving battery. Here is information from the reports:
Richard Moser, 47, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 10 p.m. Saturday on a charge of domestic battery. According to a police report, a person told officers that Moser pulled him out of his car and punched him. The incident happened at Moser's house in the 300 block of North Elm Avenue. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Daniel Montero Alfaro, 21, of Chicago, was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of Church Road on charges of battery, DUI, improper backing and failure to report an accident. According to a police report, a woman said her car was struck, but the suspect drove away. After Alfaro was caught, he threw a shoe at the arresting officer at the police station, the report said. He was released on bond. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt.
