Composing guitarist with bassist seeking drummer for a band playing blues on the jazz side. Please pay close attention: This will not be just another noisy bloozerock or anything-rock project. This will not be a fusion project. This will not be a nostalgia/tribute project. This will be original jazz-side blues and a very few, select deep covers along that line. (John Coltrane, Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie, Benny Golson, Grant Green, Charlie Parker, Gabor Szabo, others.) This will aim to keep it simple, attractive, improvisational, but swinging and grooving for people to listen and dance. Please pay further close attention: If you’re involved in too many projects already, thanks for looking but please don’t waste our time. If you’re nervous or hesitant about playing original or “unfamiliar” material, thanks for looking but please don’t waste our time. If you're looking to be heard past Mars, please don't waste our time. We want to work and rehearse and be ready to troll for gigs as soon as possible once we have a basic starting repertoire.
