This position is responsible for assisting the small tools department manager/administrator with field support, inventory control, delivery, documentation, invoices, inside sales and customer service to ensure an efficient and productive operation. Essential Job Accountabilities Maintains inventory levels, orders materials and performs all shipping and receiving functions to ensure stock levels meet business demands in a cost effective manner. Coordinates delivery of materials and tools to the field in a cost effective and efficient manner to meet project schedules. Communicates daily with manager and maintains records and invoices on parts to assist in the proper coordination of construction schedules. Perform periodic maintenance on small tools equipment to ensure tools are in good operating order before delivery to jobs. Develop and maintain good relationships with Granite suppliers to ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods. Facilitate a safety first attitude in all work to ensure Company safety standards are met. Coordinate mechanical support for the field when necessary to mitigate potential down time of small tools equipment. Depending on location provide pick-up and delivery service of tools and supplies and inspect all vehicles to ensure timely and safe delivery. Education High School Diploma. Work Experience 0-3 years progressive experience in small tools environment preferred Knowledge, skills, and abilities General understanding of parts, inventory, ordering, and construction. Must be mechanically inclined. Must be detail oriented. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to operate a computer keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
