Overview: Pottstown based construction services company looking to hire self-motivated shop laborer to assist with rebar projects. Work will be conducted mainly indoors at our commercial warehouse. Experience in welding and tying rebar would be highly attractive to our company, but we are willing to train the right person. Our labor position is hourly and at-will. Compensation will be based on level of experience. This position will report to the General Manager of Production. The ideal candidate will have… - At least 1 year of experience in welding - Strong familiarity with rebar and concrete construction best-practices and methodologies. - A positive attitude, and experience working with diverse teams; willing to be a team player. - Relevant references available upon request. - A valid Driver's License and be legally eligible to work in the U.S. - Strong knowledge of all types of welding processes. - Familiar with welding Mild Steel. - Knowledge of working with welding tools and equipment. - Skilled in operating power and hand tools. - Ability to understand oral and written instructions of a technical nature. - Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures. - Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.) - Dependable – Toggle Construction is looking for dedicated team members willing to show up on time and produce quality work.
