So Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg's flight was cancelled due to staffing shortage. Some of these people who work for an airline stay home due to Biden's incentive not to work. So he gets angry and makes a threat to all airlines to hire more people or face heavy fines by July 4. This is clearly NOT the way to help the airlines with their problems. His temper tantrum only makes things more stressful for transportation, does nothing to help them, and his imposing fines will make the price of your future ticket increase. This is what you get when you appoint someone to a post because he is gay. How would you like the pilot of an airliner hired due to the color of his skin and not his skill level, qualifications, judgment, or experience? This is what we get when we appoint or hire people who are clearly NOT qualified for the job. Look at Kamala for another perfect example. Recently Buttigieg was talking about abortion. Why that? Why was he not concentrating on the rising price of diesel fuel? THAT is what a Transportation Secretary should do. Not expound on a subject matter clearly he is not qualified to inform the public on. That is not his territory. I want to hear his plan to bring the price of diesel fuel, jet fuel, and gasoline down. Thus far he has been ineffective. Biden cow-tows to the green new deal people, blames oil companies, cuts their drilling opportunities, halts a key pipeline, and thus it is a whirlwind of poor progress. How can a Transportation Secretary work effectively with this POTUS? The taxpayer ultimately pays this price.
