Grinnell College is actively hiring for a Custodian to join its team in Grinnell, IA. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for managing custodial duties within the dining services facilities to uphold the federal and state sanitation guidelines. Job Responsibilities: • Cleaning of dining services floors, drains, fixtures, glass, ceilings, walls, and loading dock. • Collection and disposal of garbage from areas throughout dining services. • Replenishing holders for soap and paper towels in production areas • Responsible for night security of the dining services areas • Responsible for the upkeep of equipment used • Clean up various equipment/facilities as needed Requirements: • High school diploma/GED preferred • 1+ years of custodial/janitorial experience • Valid driver’s license Benefits: • 10% towards retirement through TIAA • 90% tuition coverage for employees and their families to Grinnell College • Great health, dental, and vision insurance • Life insurance • Employee assistance programs • Flexible spending accounts • PTO Grinnell College is excited to welcome a new team member.
