Timber Lane Tree Service and Landscaping is looking for new team members. We are a growing company that offers a wide range of services from large, technical tree removals to landscape installs and maintenance. We operate in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh, predominantly in the Jefferson, Pleasant Hills, Bethel Park and Baldwin areas. Responsibilities: ● Plant/Remove/Trim shrubs, trees and flowers ● Clean up and help maintain a safe job site at all times ● Set ropes and tie knots for rigging during tree removals and pruning (we will teach you!) ● Work as part of a team helping others with any and all landscaping/tree service tasks ● Be on time and show up everyday ready to work ● Help maintain and care for equipment Requirements: Reliable transportation to and from work (you will meet us at the job sites or garage in Elizabeth by Giant Eagle) Able to lift 80lbs Able to work long hours when needed Positive attitude Punctual We are a small company that continues to grow every year. We offer cash bonuses that are performance based (once in July and once in December). We do not offer paid vacation however, I do try to offer a nice work/life balanced schedule that will vary between 26-40 hours a week. Starting pay ranges from $16-$25/hr. Also, I am open to sending employees that have been with us for a year or longer through training programs at local colleges to take your wages, responsibility and value to above $25/hour. We are a young dynamic company looking for our next two team members. We are also looking for skilled climbers to sub contract out the climbing of large technical trees. (photos and references required for this position, premium pay offered). Disclaimer: Landscaping and tree work is labor intensive. If you have never done physical activity for extended hours, this is not the job for you. All employees are expected to have a valid driver's license.
