Residential rental company looking for Maintenance Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for completing general maintenance related to residential rental properties in the Oakland, Shadyside, Squirrel Hill and Dormont area. Must have basic general knowledge of plumbing, electrical, A/C-Heating systems, and day to day maintenance issues related to housing. Must be able to trouble shoot to determine if an electrician, master plumber or HVAC technician is required. Our apartments are completely renovated and well maintained.
Responsibilities:
Complete work/repair orders in a timely fashion
Plaster/painting/caulking apt as needed
Unclog toilet/change lead valve/ change tank guts
Maintain material and supply inventory
Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
​Qualifications:
Previous basic experience (3 years) in maintenance/repair : plumbing, carpentry, painting, basic electric, etc.
Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
Ability to handle physical workload
Deadline and detail-oriented
Social skill- ability to deal with tenant request/complaints
Must have reliable vehicle and valid drivers license
Must be drug free and pass background check
