Her name is Vivian, which you can change. Her fur is like silky hair and she has a bunny-like nub tail (manx breed). She is 2.5 y.o., spayed; eats dry cat food and uses litter box consistently. Vivan is an inside only cat, who comes over to be petted, but does not like to be pickup up (tolerates it though). She is calm and sweet, but will take her time to trust the new family. Vivian is fine with cats and dogs. Since Miss Independent only wants touched "on her terms", small children, who like to interact a lot, may be too stressful for her. To accomodate her with the least stress, Vivian will benefit to spend a few days in an isolated room with the door closed with her litter box and food to accept her new home and family. She will look forward to frequest visits from you in "her" room. After a few days to a week, open her door and allow her to explore her larger territory while her room is open to go back to. Within the next week she will roam the whole house and no longer need "her" room. That is what I did 2 years ago when I first got her from the breeder. Adoption fee is $75.00.
