Description
Located in muldoon. I have a band with gigs and some cool shows coming up that is in need of filling positions. Recently went through a shake up and now I have to get some folks in asap. We play Country that is rock up heavily, as well as oldies, southern rock, fun mash-ups which need explaining, and originals. As well as some real off the wall covers that bend genres. I have met a few people so far, but I definitely want to audition more just to be sure we get the right core group here. As we will be doing some original writing and recording, I do want to make sure we gell. I am looking for folks somewhat close in age. I am mid 30's, the two other are also in their 30's. So a little bit older, or a little bit younger is good. Of course, its all attitude, so if you think you have the right attitude outside of that, by all means hit me up. No issues with drugs or alcohol. Must have running car and be able to get to weekly rehearsals and gigs. I have everything needed to run a show from sound, to lighting, and even recording. I have additional instruments for rehearsals if you need, and a drum kit in the space so you don't have to lug that to every practice. What I need first, is a drummer. I have always been more of the mind of I'd rather a decent drummer, with a good attitude, than the best there is with a crap attitude. Some of the stuff we do gets pretty heavy, so if rock is your house, we can definitely accommodate. Secondly, we need a bass player. One of our guitarists is also a bass player, so we can make things work, but we would like someone who wants to create and has the chops. We know country isn't always the most fun, but we do a lot of crazy stuff, that has a ton of room for a dope bassist to really get out front and funk it up. I really care most about someone's ability to pick up and retain the music quickly though. Lastly, I am working with 2 guitar players who also do a little of other things, but, that doesn't mean I don't want to audition more to find the right fit, or find additional sounds for writing. Like I said, the other guys also do other instruments, and it may be they move to those for a better guitar fit. IDK, I just want to keep things open until we finally settle on a core. ANyway, we have a pretty big show coming up end of next month, and I would really like to get a core to gether and hopefully get us all up to speed by then, but other than that, I do have bookings through dec, and I want to make sure we cancel as few of those as possible. So hit me up and lets talk.
