Mikey is a pleasant little poodle terrier mix who found himself wandering the streets a few months ago. He's safe with a rescue where we've had him getting spoiled and loved in a foster home. After an extensive search for his owners, no one ever replied. He came in a very matted hot little mess and had to be completely shaved. His hair has grown back a little now and he's a precious little puff! Mikey gets nervous around lots of activity, so he's looking for a somewhat mild environment, and no kids under 14-15 years old. He does enjoy other dogs and they really help his confidence so we'd like him to have another small dog in the home. He's not comfortable with larger dogs. Current weight for Mikey is about 11-12 pounds. He's coming up on 4 years old and is a pup at heart. While in our care, we got him a complete dental (beautiful clean teeth!), neutered, vaccinated, health-checked, and microchipped. He is all set to go to his new family with collar & ID tag, harness and leash. We'd love for him to have a yard (even if small) where there's a little grass (even if fake). He does enjoy going for morning walks when weather permits, but also very much enjoys strolling and rolling around in his own yard. While we really want him to have another dog, we will consider a meet & greet if you don't have another dog, provided everything else for him is a good match. We just want to make sure he's comfortable in his new setting. Please email if interested and the rescue will reply with an application. We can set up a meet & greet upon approved application.
