Shop Technician / Field Service Technician Job Description Will be responsible for assembling products in house and field installation and repairs/service under supervision of the Production and Project Managers. General Requirements: • Strong attention to detail and self-organization • Strong work ethic • Must be dependable and reliable • Quick learner/self-starter • Problem solving type of person who can assess a situation and with minimal guidance create solutions to get a job done when needed. Specific product knowledge will be taught, but an ability to problem solve a must Essential Job Functions: • Honesty and integrity • Strong mechanical skills • Assemble product based on information translated from job orders, work instructions and procedures Minimum Requirements: • Valid drivers license with good driving record required and will be verified • Basic understanding of assembly practices • Ability to learn and understand work instructions and procedures with minimal supervision • Able to use a variety of hand tools / power tools and measuring tools • Read and speak English fluently • Able to be available for occasional overnight travel for 2-4 day out of town jobs, typically once or twice a month or as needed • Only qualified applicants need apply Preferred experience but not required- • Welding experience • Electrical basic knowledge • Forklift and/or bucket lift operation • Pulling small Trailers *Compensation varies, dependent on individual experience – $19- $22 per hour
