Jury Deliberation Project

Seeking a number of citizens to participate, for pay, in a 3 hour jury deliberation project. We are hosting two events, the first to be held on Thursday, June 30th, at 5:30 p.m. and the second to be held Thursday, July 7th at 5:30 p.m. both events will take place at the Landfall Executive Suites located at 1213 Culbreth Drive, Wilmington, NC 28405. We will be using the Main Conference Room. Participants can participate in only one of the two available dates. Participants will listen to, evaluate and discuss, a brief presentation regarding a real lawsuit. Participants will be paid $50 for three hours. A light meal and refreshments will be served during the event. Virtually everyone who has participated in these projects reports them to be extremely interesting, enjoyable, and worthwhile. You do not need any specific qualifications or expertise other than the ability to listen to both sides of a dispute and the willingness to be as fair as you can be.
