Furniture assembly - part time, choose your hours

Independent furniture reseller now hiring for a part time furniture assembly position. Job description - 8-20 hours per week assembling various types of furniture - All tools will be provided - $13/hr to start, with a raise to $15/hr after 3 months of satisfactory work - Set your own hours as long as they’re consistent week to week - Work is done in our workshop (this is not a work from home opportunity) - Opportunity for more work in the future by staging, photographing and listing furniture for sale or small repair work Candidate expectations - Some experience assembling furniture is preferred but not a firm requirement (totally fine if it’s been items you’ve bought for your own home). - Must be able to strike a balance between working independently and communicating with the business owner when issues arise (missing or broken parts). After your training period, you may often work alone. - Read/interpret written instructions and visual diagrams - Must stick to the work schedule you set - Must have reliable transportation - Must be able to pass a drug test and background check ** Special consideration will be given to candidates with light furniture repair and/or furniture/home staging experience ** Please apply via email.
