Bassist Classic Country Traditional Americana Bluegrass Available I've been playing Electric and Upright Bass for over 25 years. I'm VERY well versed in Classic and Traditional Country Music (4-7 piece bands) and I also have played Americana and Bluegrass on Upright Bass for the same amount of time as well. I know more covers that I can even count. I've played in original bands - The Bodarks, Shoeless Agadore, Matt Grigsby, Warren Jackson Hearne, Billy Ratcliff, Bo DePena, etc... I've played in Tribute/Cover bands - Bubba Harper, Kolton Sparks Band, King George (George Strait tribute), Shameless (Garth Brooks Tribute), Half Japanese Girls (Weezer Tribute), and a Ramones Tribute. I also love Jam music and just about every type of Americana music there is. I use: Lakland 5 String Electric Basses 1938 Kay Upright Bass w/ Gut and Synthetic Gut strings Greenboy F115 Fearless 1x15 Cab w/ Horn, Mid, and Tweeter Greenboy Bassic 1x15 (usually works for all Electric gigs) Gallien Krueger Amps Shadow Rockabilly Plus II (for Upright; this pickup/preamp system works for all genres, not just rockabilly) I am a professional player. This does not mean I won't consider your original project (thought that would probably need to be in or close to Denton). I live in the heart of Denton and am a total Dentonite. I am willing to travel around Texas and Oklahoma for gigs but I am NOT interested in touring or trying to build a band from scratch. I'm down to start a band if that's the case you must have your songs written and ready to be played live. I have some videos of me playing if you need them, but I'd prefer to just meet with you at your or my rehearsal space and just see if we click.
