Meat Trimmer The Meat Trimmer will prepare high quality cuts of meats according to customer specifications using company standards and adhering to all safety requirements. • Starting Pay $18.62 per hour! • $1000 Sign On Bonus • Schedule: 1st Shift. Monday - Friday (Some OT Required) • Union Benefits. • Education/Training: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. • Related Experience/Requirements: Skilled as a specialty meat cutter using knives, (1) year experience as a meat cutter and laser portion machinery or other meat production equipment is preferred. • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of poultry, beef, lamb, and pork products including USDA grades and standards. • Incumbent must have the ability to work in a fast paced production environment. End time is when work is completed and could require overtime with or without notice. • Must be able to work continually in a refrigerated environment 35°F- 45°F. • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 10 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required Production Associate The Production Associate wraps, boxes and labels fresh cut meat items for distribution. Cleans all production rooms and equipment to meet SSOP and HACCP requirements. • Production Associates start at $17.94 per hour ! • $750 Sign On Bonus • Schedule: 1st Shift. Monday - Friday. May require some Saturdays during our busy season • Union Benefits. • This position could require overtime with or without notice, end time is when the work is completed. • Related Experience: Minimum one year production and/or warehouse experience required, preferably in a food environment. • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Perform various roles including activities such as product receiving and selection, packaging, sorting, re-boxing and facility sanitation while adhering to company manufacturing requirements and safety regulations. • Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity, ability to lift over 50-60 pounds regularly and 80-100 pounds occasionally, ability to bend, twist, grasp, reach, push and use repetitive motions as required, ability to withstand temperatures of 35-45 degrees Fahrenheit for periods of 2-3 hours.
