If you're interested in applying for the role, you can check it out here: HireArt is helping the world’s largest social network hire a Supply Chain Analyst to help define, build, manage and measure global assets.   In this role, you will partner closely with the new product introduction (NPI) material managers, commodity sourcing managers and demand planners.   As a Supply Chain Analyst, you’ll:   Lead the technical development of innovative inventory planning and logistics processes.Review and potentially optimize suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability and other relevant factors.Manage the end-to-end Clear to Build management process and collaborate with NPI Materials Manager to identify risk, need for escalation, and track progress to resolution.Support NPI scalability by understanding and aggregating data requirements to drive supply continuity.Drive automation on an aggressive timeline with a team of world-class engineers and designers.Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision makers and with the wider enterprise organization.Analyze supply chain tools and document processes observed to continuously drive improvement and standardization opportunities.Support TCO analysis to ensure project cost are meeting/beating cost objectives.Facilitate NPI Purchase Order and hardware receiving processes e.g. tracking/supporting part number creation, ECO release/changes, transfer of hardware within systems/tools and product BOM and cost.Approve purchases of the highest quality products at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts.Approve purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services.Instruct team on methods of negotiation/renegotiation, administration of contracts with suppliers, vendors and other representatives.Communicate with team, users, and vendors to discuss defective/unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action.Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes.
