Looking for Versatile Guitar Player for Party Band

GUITAR PLAYERS - can you sing? play lead guitar? Harmonize? I have a working cover band - we do everything from dance, R&B, classic rock, country, reggae - from today's music as far back as early 60s Weddings, casinos, etc from LA, OC, SD, SB, Riverside. You need to be okay to commuting anywhere from 30 to 2+ hours. My main guy is moving out of state and we need to start auditioning new players We are looking for a special someone who is dedicated to learning the material, and bringing a fantastic stage presence to the show. Someone who knows how to give the crowd a good time. You like to show up on time (maybe even early), have a car, and leaves the drama at home. You smile a lot and love playing music :) We get hired in many variations - Duo, Trio, Full Band, as well as you solo. We also have DJ services. If you know anything about Serato DJ - HUGE plus. I'm happy to teach you as well. Sometimes we will play in someones backyard, and sometimes we will be on a big stage. Sometimes we're at a beach wedding and you are playing unplugged acoustic guitar for a ceremony while a bride walks down an aisle and I'm singing. Are you okay with helping to load in and out? Do you do audio? Do you own any audio or visual equipment? I own a full PA system with dance floor lights and more. The more versatile you are, the more gigs you will get, the more I will call you. Last year my guitar player in this position made $11K and our first wedding gig was in April 2021. The business is BOOMING right now and I am literally turning down work. Some gigs will pay high end, some will pay less depending on time of year and the gig itself. Bars pay nothing but they help us become better as team. Weddings and private parties pay the best. I try and reserve weekend nights for those. You need to understand not every single gig we get will pay top dollar but this is how we stay in business and busy all the time. I am good to my band and once you're family I am always looking out for your best interest.
