##### FOR THE GOOD OF ALL PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES, REGARDLESS OF PARTY AFFILIATION ##### George Washington served 2 terms as our 1st President of the United States. He didn't want to. He wanted to serve out 1 term, then have someone else take his place. He was undoubtedly worried that he himself would be looked upon as a King, which he certainly did not want. The young nation had just separated itself from a King, and he felt that it did not need a new one. But he was convinced and begrudgingly served a 2nd term as President. At the end of the 2nd term, he wrote a Farewall Address. In this address, we read these words: "The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries, which result, gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of Public Liberty." What he was trying to tell us, now, in the 21st century, is that party politics will ruin the liberty for which he fought, and for which many of his soldiers died. As seen in our society today, some are blindly loyal to the Democrats and Joe Biden and some are blindly loyal to the Republicans and Donald Trump. Both would be unwise in Washington's eyes. If we fail to realize the dangers of party politics, thereby failing to come together for the common goal of remaining free people, but instead continue on our current trajectory, I fear that things are going to continue to get worse, much worse. And there will be no way to stop the dominoes from falling. In my heart of hearts, with all the compassion that I can convey via text on a website for all people everywhere in the United States, I profoundly and seriously hope my predictions in the previous paragraph are proved wrong over time. I would rather be wrong, and have our country returned to the paradigm of freedom, than be found correct and lose our country to forces and individuals we cannot protest. ##### FREE SPEECH - PROTECTED BY THE 1ST AMENDMENT #####
