Excellent opportunity for a new position as a Shipping/Receiving/Inventory clerk in Las Vegas, NV within a multinational Design and Manufacturing Company. Looking for an individual with good knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Outlook, Excel and Word. Summary of Essential Job Functions • Primarily responsible for shipping and receiving components and products as well as maintaining inventory. Prior experience in international shipping a plus • Daily Delivery and Organization of Parts - Receives, unpacks, and Ships Product; re-stocks items as necessary • Assemble and fill boxes and other cartons with product that needs to be shipped • Knowledge of Shipping Software and Procedures e.g. UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc. • Prepare and print shipping labels • Contact carrier and coordinate/schedule shipping for each package • Maintain a clean and safe work environment • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Light janitorial (trash/sweeping) to keep work areas cleaned and organized. • Control expenses (Supplies, packaging etc.) • Processes and document component returns as required, following established procedures. • Print and process daily inventory receipts and cross-check with computer software to ensure accuracy • Track inventory and report shortages for inventory accuracy • Database management skills • Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and able to perform general office duties a plus • Work independently and as a team • Effectively communicate and work with all levels of management maintaining a high level of confidentiality • Provide daily communication with overall progress or issues with management • Ability to assess circumstances and problem solve, exercising common sense and diplomacy • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Job Requirements • Proficiency in MS Office Word, MS Office Excel and Outlook. • Possess a strong understanding of office procedures and practices. • Must be dependable, timely, have a positive attitude, and a team work ethic. • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to compose professional correspondence.
