Looking for assembling a band. Old Skynyrd, Van Halen (dlr era only sorry), Zeppelin, Stones, early ZZ, early A-Smith, AllmanBros. Some G’n’R early cuts, Velvet Revolver, STP 90’s too. QOTSA Iggy and Bowie even. Notice emphasis on “early cuts”… Roots. Covers to shake out the moves, then maybe get to inspired original flowing songs. I like the focus on the funk, boogie, and the hairy dirty stuff. I say loud, but am volume sensitive and love working volume dynamics. Looking for Drums and Bass players who truly love the original approaches and rudimentary chops of these giants. And Taylor Hawkins is truly missed, btw. Obviously a singer who can stand strong through any of this is to be highly regarded, coveted and well taken care of, especially if you’re a poet at heart. Dying for a large space to open it up and go full tilt on Tone and Chops workouts. All for fun, maybe we get to festival level with a solid lineup. Have ample yet simple gear to cover all the range, no digital, and I like to sing harmony too. Acoustic renditions are totally game as well. Just throwing a life line out for feelers. Can travel around the perimeter if it looks good. I don’t mind scratching it together until the right guys fall into place. Willing to contribute to rental of such a space too. I’m 50, but when the music flows I’m 30. First time seeking, hoping for lightning to strike. Peace Love and Rock and Roll.
