On Trac, Incorporated serves as a communications partner with Fort Collins Connexion for fiber broadband installations. Technicians are needed for the Fort Collins, Colorado area. Primary responsibilities of our technicians include: Performing high quality installation and testing of customer communications equipment. Wiring for video, phone, and data, and high speed fiber optics. (Common hand and power tools, as well as specialized trade tools and equipment, will be utilized on most installations.) Communicating detailed information to the customer regarding installed services, equipment, and features. Documenting equipment, services, and other relevant information pertaining to installations. Technician core skills / traits: Common knowledge of the methods and materials for connecting consumers' homes, buildings, and equipment to the communications utility. Current knowledge of consumer computer equipment/router devices, telephone, television, and related electronics. Current knowledge of computer operating systems and configurations commonly used by consumers Ability to analyze, identify, and quickly solve problems. Ability to communicate clearly (verbally or in writing). Potential candidates should exhibit the following: A positive attitude, high motivation, a proactive mindset, and a great work ethic. Analytical approaches to problem solving. A personable approach to customer service. Good hygiene and neatly dressed/groomed. Consistent good attendance and punctuality. Commitment to an alcohol and drug free workplace (random drug testing environment). Clear driving and criminal records. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $34,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
