Laborers needed for immediate openings We are a rapidly expanding emergency fuel service company that provides cradle-to-grave fueling solutions. We support a multitude of federal, state, and local government agencies as well as private sector companies with complete fuel delivery packages of personnel, storage, and fuel dispensing assets. We have multiple openings for permanent full-time laborers. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to “deploy” to disaster locations for on-site mission needs. Job Description Clean, prepare, maintain worksites, and load/unload materials & equipment Operate and tend fuel pumping systems, forklifts, light vehicles, and other equipment Receive, transfer, and dispense fuel to customers (training will be provided) Document all fuel transactions accurately and completely Follow instructions from supervisors and company policies and procedures Assist skilled personnel with routine tasks Assist in monitoring and reporting of fuel inventories, parts, and materials Communicate with customers using professionalism and politeness Work as a team with diverse coworkers to complete taskings in a timely manner Learn all aspects of the fuel industry through progressive training and experience Ask questions, never assume if not sure! Learn from others on the team Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Desirable Basic hand tools identification and use Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals High school diploma or GED Use of basic computer functions and mobile device applications Able to understand, read, and speak the English language Other Qualifications Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills highly desirable Bi-lingual preferred Additional considerations Office hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm (Mon – Fri) Work environment is in open shop, outside, and in vehicles. Exposure to weather, vapors, and high-noise equipment During emergency and disaster response, hours are likely to increase If deployed to disaster areas, pay will be a daily rate starting at $300 per day (dependent upon contract terms) We provided opportunities for training and advancement and travel May be assigned to a Project Manager to work on project specific tasks Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and random drug testing Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
