Len's Awning Canvas is seeking candidates with basic to experienced skills. Position will include working on and installing awnings, pulling staples, mark and cut materials, cleaning items and facility, sewing, stapling, odd jobs, yard work and/other tasks as needed. Must be a handy person and have experience and be comfortable with hand and basic power tools. Must be mechanically inclined and able to work off ladders. Good communication skills with co-workers, customers, and contractors is a requirement. Experience in the marine canvas and upholstery field would be helpful. Pay is based on experience. Valid drivers license required.is seeking a skilled laborer to join their team- Position involves physical labor, working on and installing awnings and other related construction projects. Position requires both indoor and outdoor work. Must be able to read a tape measure and operate all types of hand and power tools. Must be mechanically inclined and able to work off ladders. Good communication skills with co-workers, customers, and contractors is a must. Shop work would include but not limited to drilling boats, setting snaps, cutting material, and general maintenance. Driver's License is necessary. Welding experience, construction experience or sewing experience is all beneficial. Hours are Mon-Fri 6:00 am -- 6:00 pm, hours to be arranged.
