OVERVIEW As the Lead Millwork / Cabinet Installer at NuBirch you will play a critical role in taking ownership of our projects out in the field by providing high end residential and commercial installation of a wide range of finished products with the highest level of quality, accuracy, and efficiency. We are a small family-like organization - all employees work from our manufacturing facility or out in the field. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Act as lead installer on the job site and effectively manage the site activities to ensure the install is completed on time and up to quality standards. * Troubleshoot issues with the install team and communicate potential roadblocks to management in an effective and efficient manner. * Demonstrate responsible attendance and punctuality at the job site daily. * Submit progress videos and photos to management at the end of each work day. * Ensure a safe, clean, and organized job site; Follow all safety regulations and mask mandates, protect all delicate surfaces, sweep, vacuum, and safeguard all tools, materials, etc. daily. * Attend project review meetings leading up to the installation as needed. * Wrap, pack, load, and unload a wide range of finished goods for each project as needed. * Drive the company vehicle to and from the job site and assist with deliveries as needed. * Complete special projects as requested. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS * Minimum of 5 years’ experience woodworking and installing high end cabinetry and architectural millwork in residential and/or commercial settings * Must be able to install independently (you’ll have at least one partner 99% of the time) using the approved shop and architectural drawings for each unique project with little to no guidance * Must have shop experience - when not out in the field, candidates will be expected to work in the shop, assisting with milling, cutting, glue-ups, dry fitting, etc. * Must be available Monday - Friday no later than 8:00 AM * Must have car and clean driver’s license * Comprehensive set of personal tools preferred REQUIRED SKILLS * Experienced with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery * Can handle and lift up to 75 pounds * Can accurately read and interpret complex architectural and shop drawings * Ability to act independently as well as part of a team with very little supervision and great work ethic Outstanding written, interpersonal verbal communication skills. Adept at communicating statuses and requests in a concise manner and paying attention to necessary details. * High client service orientation: Highly responsive, courteous, professional, and supportive for clients, colleagues, and sub-trades. * Strong working computer and mobile devices knowledge * Meticulous attention to detail * Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. * Excellent project management skills and strong problem-solving skills. * Proactive and self-motivated; ability to take initiative. * Demonstrate a growth mindset (e.g., embrace latest technology, innovate methods for increasing work efficiency and improving workflows, etc.). * Work with all employees to identify, establish, and maintain a positive work environment and authentic culture which encourages diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
