Join Rachel Cargle and Yoga Squared as they lead us through an outdoor, guided visualization and yoga flow class for all levels on the Sculpture Garden Green of the Akron Art Museum. A truly unique wellness experience, grounding us in embodiment and rooting us in expansion.
NOTE: For health & safety in light of COVID-19, attendees should bring their own mats in order to participate.
Rachel’s local bookshop, Elizabeth’s of Akron, will be on-site offering a curated selection of titles and artisan wares for purchase as additional resources for wellbeing. Elizabeth’s Bookshop & Writing Centre (EBWC) is a Black-owned bookstore and literacy center that highlights, promotes, and honors the work of writers of color, LGBTQ+, disabled and other marginalized authors who are often excluded from traditional cultural, social and academic conversations. With a regularly rotating catalog of titles, our pop-up shelves exist inside Compass Coffee - a part of The Well CDC - located in the Middlebury neighborhood of Akron, Ohio.
This event is a part of The Loveland Group’s (TLG) PRIDE and Anniversary programming and encourages all to join in expression and celebration. For more information view our programming section on the TLG website at https://www.lovelandgroupllc.com/
